Governors distinguish themselves and their profession by making a significant philanthropic investment in ULI. Each governor contributes £30,000 or more to ULI’s endowment, generating income in perpetuity for the Institute and securing its ability to deliver on its mission.
Governors play an active role in ULI both sharing their expertise and knowledge and shaping the future of their communities and the Institute. In addition to financial support, Governors donate their time by:
- Participating in annual Governors meetings
- Serving on the ULI Europe Advisory Board to help shape the future of the Institute
- Volunteering their time to participate in Advisory Services panels
- Passing their knowledge to future generations by acting as mentors to young professionals or by volunteering with pupils through the UrbanPlan programme
- Attending Global Governors Retreats
- Acting as ambassadors for the ULI Charitable Trust across Europe
